It is 5 A.M, and I’m starting the fourth day of a short juice fasting. I have not decided along it will be yet, maybe, 7 or 10 days.
Some people say they feel “light” and other say they feel “crash and burn”. I do not feel anything special on this fourth day. I do not feel I m detoxifying at this point. Maybe, my diet is not so bad after all. I eat very simple things.

Detoxifying is the reason I ‘m doing this. I believe that we live in a very polluted planet. We have pollution in our foods, streets, cities and the seas.
I’m convinced that regular periods of detox can only be beneficial. Even if I have a perfectly healthy diet, I still live in a polluted environment.
I’m doing a short juice fasting now, and I will probably do a longer one in September.
When this is over, I will implement a mixture of vegetarian, vegan and raw foods lifestyle. I bought some books about raw and vegan food recipes, but I have to learn about the bizarre ingredients listed in the raw food recipes books and I have to find a place to buy these things.
I also bought an e-book about juice fasting called “Fasting To Freedom”, it was a decent read, but it was not what I was looking for. If you are unsure about the benefits of fasting, maybe this is a book for you.
